We’ve refreshed the design of the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor to align with our overall interface design. This update allows for more descriptive and visually appealing messages within your estimates, making your notes and descriptions clearer, more professional, and easier to read.

First impressions matter, and now your shared estimates look sharp on any device! The estimate share link is now mobile-friendly, ensuring clients can view estimates on their phones or tablets with a clean, professional presentation.

We’ve completely reimagined the estimate builder, making it more intuitive and user-friendly. This overhaul is the result of direct user feedback and is designed to streamline your workflow, reduce friction, and make it easier than ever to create accurate, winning estimates.

A new "Getting Started" button on the Estimates page helps new users navigate the estimate creation process. We’ve also added a "Help" button to provide content and guidance, with plans to expand this resource.

The estimate share toolbar has been revamped for a more user-friendly experience.

The trial period for new users has been adjusted from 30 days to 14 days.

Resolved a bug on the Report tab that caused inconsistencies between rounded hours and decimal totals on estimates.

View history can give you insights into your estimate share performance. You can visualize the data with a graph showing dates and viewing trends.

Hover over tooltip icons in the estimate setup for clear, quick explanations of each section.

The “Add New” button is now available at both the top and bottom of the estimate.

Resolved a movement issue with the note line type controller that caused unintended page shifting when hovering.

Simple Estimate v1.4.3

You can now create a shareable link directly from the estimate listing page! Simply click the three-dot menu next to an estimate and select "Share" to streamline client collaboration.

Add more detail and polish to your estimates with formatted text in the description. The new WYSIWYG editor allows for bolding, italicizing, bullet points, and more when creating a new estimate.

When starting an estimate from a template, the description will now pre-fill correctly, saving you time and ensuring consistency across estimates.

You can now easily modify values when starting from a template to create a new estimate. This gives you greater flexibility to customize estimates to fit specific project needs. (Change Rate cards, description, and more settings)

Simple Estimate v1.4.1

Improved tooltips are now available across the estimate-building process, offering users clear and actionable guidance for each section. These tooltips help users navigate and utilize features more effectively, improving confidence in building accurate estimates.

The Estimate Builder now highlights all editable sections, making it clear where users can customize content. This enhancement removes guesswork, creating a more intuitive editing experience.

Hovering over different sections highlights them and displays context-specific menus, making it easy to locate editing tools. The menu options are reorganized to guide users on which components—such as tasks and notes—are best suited for building structured, professional estimates.

The new interface includes improved colors, contrast, and icons, making key functions like “delete” more visible and easily accessible. This visual upgrade ensures that users can readily identify areas that are movable, editable, or have specific actions available.

Fixed an issue where new estimates created from templates did not automatically apply the template's rate card. Each new estimate will now inherit the template’s rate card, ensuring pricing consistency from the start.

Resolved a bug that prevented the template description from populating automatically in new estimates. Now, estimates generated from templates will automatically include the description, saving time and maintaining alignment with template specifications.

This release provides an updated Estimate Builder interface while ensuring templates are reliably applied to new estimates. Thank you for your continued feedback in helping us refine Simple Estimate!

Simple Estimate v1.3.19

Users can now edit essential details of an estimate directly from the Estimates page, improving workflow efficiency by reducing the need to navigate to multiple sections for minor adjustments. Click on the description or title area, and it will be editable.

: Resolved a character limit bug that prevented notes from saving correctly in certain cases. Users can now enter notes without experiencing unexpected truncation or save issues.

The request for editor access to the email system now provides more user information, such as first name, last name, and email.
